I have never experienced hospitality like at Jasmine Valley. They went out of their way to make us welcome and comfortable, with over 20 children! They organised all of our day time activities, and the food was both exciting and delicious. Thank you very much.

If my plane goes down in the Gulf of Thailand my ghost will return to inhabit the one pole treehouse. From here, I will listen to birdsong and hooting gibbons at sunrise, watch dragonflies swarming at sunset and stargaze through wheeling fruit bats at midnight.
I could complain about the workers' howling dogs and the early morning clap of hammers but it has been good to be here in the construction phase. As Jasmine Valley takes shape in a new way, so do the Khmers that live and work here. This is for them as much as anyone.
Two days has unexpectedly morphed into twenty and I hope to return to Owen's vision and positive energy, Jasmine's welcome, George's generous nature, Scott's ease and honesty and Syphat's laugh. And the charm of all the Khmers around them.
